About Us And Our Staff
Who We Are
Cuan Mhuire is Ireland’s largest multi-site provider of Residential Detoxification and Treatment for those suffering from addictions. Founded in 1966 by Sr Consilio on the belief that each human being is of eternal value, it now provides treatment for 3000 persons annually
Sr Consilio
‘I shall pass through this world once, any good thing therefore that I can do, or any kindness that I can show to any fellow creature, let me do it now.
Let me not defer or neglect it, for I shall not pass this way again’
Prayer by Stephen Grellet
Sr. Consilio - Eileen Fitzgerald - was born in 1937 and raised in Clougvoula, Brosna, Co. Kerry. Sr. Consilio often reminisces of her wonderful parents and the values which she espouses today are, she will say, values which were nurtured in the family home and which were passed on to her, and the other family members.
